Continuing the season of harvest celebration, the Verde Valley will be showcasing its best wine, culinary creations and a beer garden at the annual Taste of the Verde Valley, Saturday, Nov. 2, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Held at Cliff Casino Hotel’s Stargazer Pavilion, guests can relax and enjoy all that is the Verde Valley. Live music, by Native American Music Award winner Gabriel Ayala, will set the mood for this anticipated celebration and the Yavapai Apache Nation Cultural Center will be exhibiting at the event.
The Verde Valley Wine Trail Painted Barrel auction is now a featured part of the celebration as well. Proceeds from the auction go to the Yavapai College Viticulture program, supporting the growing, hands-on college certificate and degree program for students who want to learn the ropes of working in the wine industry.
The event is hosted by Cliff Castle Casino Hotel. “We’re excited to partner with our local wineries to celebrate the wine harvest and offer guests the very best food, wine and live entertainment the Verde Valley has to offer,” states Tony Averitt, Director of Marketing.
Tickets to Taste of the Verde Valley are $20, and include five wine or food tastings, a complimentary tasting glass and a $10 casino PlayCheck. Tickets are available in advance at the Castle Club or by calling (928) 567-7999. They will also be available at the gate.
Stargazer Pavilion is located off of Interstate 17, next to Cliff Castle Casino Hotel.
